Jimmy Webb is arguably the finest American pop songwriter of his generation, who went from struggling composer to seeming overnight success in 1967 with such chart-topping renditions of his tunes as the Fifth Dimensions ‘Up, Up and Away’ and Glen Campbells ‘By the Time I Get To Phoenix’, yielding the gifted 21 year-old artist eight Grammy awards in a single year.

A Community Fun Day will be held on Sunday 20th September from 12noon to 4pm. All funds raised
will go to very special kids and one of the giant piggy banks at the heart of Very Special Kids 2009
Appeal will make an appearance at 12 noon. The day will feature entertainment for all the family including
a sausage sizzle, children’s art classes and old fashioned games.
